The team comprising Deputy Director NAB and OGRA corruption case Investigation Officer (IO) Rana Shahid was scheduled to travel to Abu Dhabi on July 2,2013 and complete Sadiq’s deportation procedure.
However, with no visas in hand, they were unable to embark on their journey.
Earlier on June 19, 2013 former chairman OGRA Tauqir Sadiq voluntarily surrendered himself after an Abu Dhabi court ordered his deportation.

How dumb it is! If these investigations officers are not capable of planning their trip then what can they do? They must be either demoted to some clerical job or kicked out of service. Tax payers money should not be wasted on people like these.
Come on guys, it takes utmost 5 days to get the visa ..... typical behavior of dudes dealing accountability in the country
And we are expecting this department to catch the hardened white collar criminals. How difficult is it to get visas for Abu Dhabi anyway ? Or is this done to give this individual enough time to disappear ?
Inefficiency and incompetence at it's best
Do they have the passports? What was the wait time for the boys?
The biggest joke on the nation. When even an ordinary tourist can get a visa to UAE from any travel agent or airline. This shows that the net of people involved in this scandal is spread far and wide. Beggars increduality.
