Speaking at the K-P Assembly, Khattak warned bureaucrats to not consider the government weak.
“I am not satisfied with the bureaucracy,” he said, adding that the government is very serious about what they plan to do as they have a big mandate.
Khattak warned the 'baboos' to deliver on his directives within a week or else face consequences.
The DG health was asked to submit his report over fake medicines within 10 days.
Talking about the deteriorating law and order situation, he said, "The police had been directed to work on the incidents related to target killings and kidnappings."
Khattak said such incidents needed to be reduced or else the involved police officials will not stay in the province.
He announced that an intelligence outfit in the police department would be established saying that preemptive measures need to be taken to avoid terrorists attacks.
“We should arrest them before they attack us," he said.
The K-P chief minister said that his government will pass a law on conflict of interest, disallowing lawmakers to do business as they are in a position to influence laws.
Aside from setting up an independent accountability commission, a third party validation system will be introduced to ensure transparency. Khattak said that it will serve under this commission and it will not have police personnel who are presently working with anti-corruption.
“It will be a powerful and independent commission,” he said.
Khattak stated that teachers will not be transferred in K-P.
"Teachers will retire at the same school where they were appointed,” he said.
The government will provide health care on emergency basis and the public sector hospitals have been asked to provide a list of things they need by July15, he said.
Khattak said transparency would be introduced in land transactions based on Jhang model till the record of the revenue department is computerized.
The K-P chief minister suggested the idea of starting 4000-5000 megawatts electricity projects within three to four months saying that there are investors who are here to invest on the promise of zero corruption and security.
Khattak asked lawmakers to give him time till July 30 to start coming true on his promises.

Mr. CM make sure that you put a ban of female teachers getting married out out of their city or village, other wise it would not be possible for them to commute to the school after getting married and moving to another place.
@fyza:
will you please elaborate more ?? transparency ???
@sajjad: That's exactly how it should be. This is how law enforcement based on intelligence works in the developed world. Rather than trying to put out fires everywhere, the police needs to be proactive and identify threats before they are executed. How dumb does one have to be to LOL that?
Previously a little disgruntled; my dad-a government official in Peshawar, is very happy over the rate his department is moving towards transparency. He witnessed a wind of change!
Fire them from their jobs. Its as simple as that. These baboos should go. Take the initiative and be bold. Like indra ghandi did in india. She finished off feudalism. Likewise CM of KPK should fire these old corrupt baboos and hire young patriotic men in their place.
Open cases of corruption against them and let them face charges and put them behind bars and set fair examples.
PTI are doing good and heading in right direction at least in Pakistan. nya Pakistan inshalla
Nothing will change. Not until people will organise to support or oppose their elected representatives in bringing improvement in their lives by eradicating malpractices of the officials and those who serve in the public in any capacity. If people do not organsie thus they will remain the suffrers of their folly and inaction.
LOLS @ “We should arrest them before they attack us,”
