Political Wars: PML-F worker killed in rocket attack

After the incident, SSP Khairpur suspended Kumb SHO Abdul Rahim Mashuri.

KHAIRPUR: A worker of the Pakistan Muslim League- Functional (PML-F) was killed in a rocket attack near Kumb town in Khairpur on Saturday morning, after which the neighbourhood shut down.

A group of armed men attacked the Mehwal Shambani village, within Kumb police station limits with rockets, in which Abdul Sattar Shambani was killed. The deceased was taken to Kotdiji hospital and was handed over to his relatives after legal formalities.

Muhammad Amin Shambani, the brother of the deceased, said that armed men were wearing police uniforms when they attacked his brother. After the incident, SSP Khairpur suspended Kumb SHO Abdul Rahim Mashuri and posted Abbas Bajwa as the new SHO.
