Balochistan unrest: Two FC troops killed in Awaran district blast

At least two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and three others suffered injuries in a remote controlled blast in the Mashkey area of Awaran district on Wednesday.


According to the FC spokesman, an FC armoured vehicle was on its way in Nukjo area of Mashkey when a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) went off, killing two paramilitary men and injuring three others. The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Meanwhile, at least eight people of the Tablighi Jamaat were kidnapped in the Jaho area of Awaran district on Wednesday. According to sources some people came on motorcycles and took away the eight people.
