‘Ignored’: Court moved for theft case FIR
Petitioner prayed the court to direct the SHO to a register a case against the suspects.

A man has approached the court to get registered an FIR against the men who he says stole a generator and mobile phones after serving him doctored food. An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought comments from Kot Lakhpat SHO by June 27.
The SHO, says the petitioner, ignored his request to register a case. Muhammad Shafi told the court that he owned a generator shop. On June 15, he said, Hammad Raza and two others came to his shop and offered him sweetmeat. He said after having some, he fainted and woke up to find two mobile phones and a 3-KV generator missing. He prayed the court to direct the SHO to a register a case against the suspects.
