Nisar was speaking during a National Assembly session on Sunday.
Late Saturday night, five Ukrainians, three Chinese, a Russian and their guide were killed in an attack in a remote resort area near the base camp for the snow-covered Nanga Parbat mountain.
Condemning the incident, the interior minister said that all the institutions in the country are weak and have failed to prevent such attacks.
He further criticised the lack of accountability against irresponsible officials, whose failures lead to security lapses.
Nisar vowed to work beyond his responsibility to ensure security across the country.
He informed the parliamentarians that his ministry is working on a national security policy which will soon be presented in the National Assembly.
The interior minister said that the recommendations made by all the political parties will be accommodated to make it a comprehensive national policy.
The National Assembly also passed a resolution today, condemning the killing of the foreign tourists.

Yesterday on NBC in a brodcast Kashmiri terorists were being addressed as freedom fighters and it was demanded to US to intervine in the issue . Pakistan is doing it for the last 65 years , The result is that so many groups of freedom fighters have emerged there and US is also there . Open your eyes and follow a right path now or face the consiquences
Really - did this dawn on him or did he have to go to school to recognize that? he is stating the obvious, question is being the interior minister what is he going to do about it?

It would seem that we have all landed into a world where everyone is attacking on evryone! Even ET is attacking on the Internet technology, which has manged to create a space in the global village for the citizens to communicate with a lightening speed with each other, by blocking it for several hours before releasing it.

This is very well planed war being fought by the enemies of Pakistan to use non state actors to attack Pakistan from inside the country and to destabilize and to bank corrupt the country economically and our previous government was too busy in looting the country them self that they totally ignored this war and I blame the army also that they have let the things get to this point. Our leaders need to come forward and tell the nation The truth and treat this terrorism as acts and warn India and Afghanistan of the consequences.

Or strong textatleast summon their Consulate General to Foreign Office and issue condemnation note to Qatar Govt. They have provided the office and save house to Tehrik e Taliban officials. Pakistan has got no deficiency of tourist spots and it was indeed a sight of many tourists from round the globe before the menace of extremism engulfed our country. Before anyone starts blaming Imran Khan for this mess, just to let them know that GB is not considered as a part of KPK. If the present government doesn't address our concerns either then I guess no one can help Pakistan from disintegration. I support PTI but simply wish that leadership of all parties including PML-N,PPP,MQM and ANP try to address Imran Khan's request for A National Consensus if they really love Pakistan.

Swallow your bias and prejudice. Consult with Israel's counter terrorism groups. They will show you how to eradicate these terrorists once and for all. No-one does it better. I know it won't happen, but maybe behind the scenes? If Pakistan can purchase military equipment from them, which they do, why not this?

Pakistan is getting a taste of its own medicine. The non-state actors that it raised and nurtured for so long, to bleed India with thousand cuts, to have strategic depths in Afghanistan and Kasmir, have gone out of hand. Most Pakistanis know it, but will not admit in public. My sympathy and support for all Pakistanis who want peace for themselves, and also for the rest of the world. ,

Napoleon once described England as a nation of shopkeepers. Presentday Pakistan can be described as a nation led by shopkeepers, who are completely out of their depth when confronted by armed struggle by citizens who have had enough of government graft and incompetence. Wake up and DO something instead of giving speeches. Start solving the nation's problems yourselves or hire those who are capable of doing so.
The blood of foreigners is of course not worth more than the blood of Pakistanis. Foreigners are seen as bargaining chips, as they draw more attention internationally. What has been shown is that no foreign guest can expect any form of security in Pakistan - even in the less unstable areas. I would hazard a guess that most of those that remain are thinking about leaving. If you have a face that looks foreign, there is absolutely nowhere to hide.
It is devastating for Pakistans already-poor image. Things looked like they could possibly improve over the next few months. This is a huge setback that will take a long time to recover from. In the meantime, there will be even fewer tourists/practically none and there will be less foreign investment. Both are desperately needed.

Second, first rule of management is that you have to take responsibility for the actions of your subordinates. Quit transferring blame on the agencies working under you. If they are not functioning correctly, it's still you fault. Finally, For God's sake we want to see concrete actions, the perpetrators getting arrested, and given exemplary sentences. The mindset of extremism and militancy built over the past 35 years is eventually creating a hostile atmosphere for Pakistan in the international community.But if the dismal failure of General Musharraf,s policy of enlightened moderation is any guide, the political and religious parties will resist any attempt to control this dangerous trend notwithstanding its global repercussions that will cost us diplomatically as well as economically. Here I must request the Interior Minster to change his that pro Taliban stance when he was the leader of opposition in the National Assembly.

Govt should take stern action against terrorist/TTP those who are taking the life of innocents. There should be a clear policy against terrorist and all parties conference must be held in this regard.
So more budget for more spooks to watch the foreigners. Why not just create a law enforcement environment for every one in the country which ensures that every murderer - whether he kills Shias or foreigners or Ahmadis or prosecutors or any human being - is captured without fear or favor. And is not protected by the State with the label "Strategic Asset".
The problem is that a traveller in Pakistan is already so much restricted, that any further restrictions will make travelling totally unpracticable. There are so many areas which are considered no-go or only accessible with an NOC (not only for reasons of protection of tourists). But it is very hard to find out where these restrictions apply. There are no signs on the road saying that you have to U-turn immediately at some point. And because there are barey foreigners, authorities are not used to dealing with them. The officials do not even know exactly about the restrictions. When asked by a foreigner, they are desparate in finding out whether there are any particular restrictions or not. Bureaucracy in the country is a total mess.
