MALAKAND:
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Malakand District Vice President Pir Mussawir Shah on Thursday demanded immediate payment of compensation for heirs of the Shergarh blast victims and early arrest of perpetrators. The PTI leader said the killing of Member Provincial Assembly Imran Mohmand, along with 28 innocent civilians, in a suicide blast during funeral prayers had exposed the evil mindset of the attackers and such elements deserved no mercy. He said people from every walk of life had strongly condemned the brutal attack. Shah said the Khyber-Pakthunkhwa chief minister had announced Rs300,000 each for the heirs of the deceased and Rs100,000 for the injured, adding that an early release of the amount would help minimise financial suffering of the relatives.
