LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday took notice of the reported killing of a ninth-grader after he was kidnapped from Factory Area. The Complaints Cell of the LHC has directed the district and sessions judge to probe into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the police and his own comments. It was earlier reported that Kashif Mehmood, son of Feroze Din, a resident of Yasin Town, Ghazi Road, had never returned home after he went out for an errand. His brother, Shafaqat, had lodged a missing-person complaint with Factory Area police. The following day, the boy’s body was found hanging in a plaza in the area.
