Business ties: Dar meets South Korean envoy

Dar assured the ambassador that the government was trying to revive Pakistan’s economy through comprehensive reforms.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with South Korean Ambassador Choong Joo Choi, who called on him here to discuss business relations between the two countries.

Dar assured the ambassador that the government was trying to revive Pakistan’s  economy through comprehensive reforms.

“A business and investment friendly atmosphere will be created in the country and the government will clear circular debt within 60 days.

This step on one hand will help ease energy crisis in the country while on other hand it will restore confidence of investors,” he remarked.

On the occasion, Ambassador Choi said that Korean investors want to invest in different sectors in Pakistan.
