BAHAWALPUR: The body of a 55-year-old man was recovered from Head Panjnad on Tuesday. The man was identified as Sheikh Muhammad Idrees, said to be mentally handicapped.
Residents of the area said he had drowned while bathing. It took rescuers an hour to find the body.
Saddar police was also present during the search operation.
