MQM office bearers advise Altaf Hussain against joining Sindh government

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) office bearers have advised party chief Altaf Hussain to decide in favour of sitting on the opposition benches in the Sindh Assembly, Express News reported on Monday.

On Sunday, a three-member PPP delegation comprising, former interior minister Rehman Malik, Pir Mazharul Haq and Makhdoom Jamiluz Zaman held a meeting at the MQM’s Nine Zero headquarters and invited the party to join the provincial government.
But despite the formal invitation, the party said it would take a final decision after consulting party workers.
