Joint strategy: JI asks govt to hold APC on terror

Syed Munawar Hasan says govt would have to take up the issue of terrorist attacks in Quetta as a serious matter.

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan Sunday asked the federal government to immediately convene an all parties’ conference (APC) with the cooperation of the governments of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to devise a joint strategy against terrorism.

Talking to the media after addressing JI office-bearers, he said the government would have to take up the issue of terrorist attacks in Quetta as a serious matter.
