Up in flames: Godown goes down

PESHAWAR: A warehouse stocking cosmetics, perfumes and other chemical products worth millions of rupees caught fire near Ring Road Chowk, Peshawar at around 6pm on Wednesday.

The fire engulfed nearby areas, including a petrol pump. It took fire-fighters more than five hours to bring the blaze under control. Most of the inventory has been reduced to ashes; no human loss has been reported.
