Doctors prescribed him one month medicine and physiotherapy.
The TNSM chief developed the health problems during his detention in Central Prison Peshawar where the doctors referred him to LRH for proper treatment. Orthopaedic doctors examined him and found no signs of any serious illness.
“There was not a serious problems but he had the problems of urine and knee pain where the doctors conducted an ultrasound. The doctors prescribed him medicines and advised him to rest after using the medicine and physiotherapy for a month,” spokesperson of LRH, Syed Jamil Shah told The Express Tribune.
He added that it depended on the jail authority whether Muhammad could be reexamined in the hospital or in the prison where he is serving his sentence. He further said that they had just examined him and all medicines and additional services would be provided by the doctors in prison.
In July of last year, Peshawar High Court ordered to shift the case of Sufi Muhammad from Lower Dir to Peshawar, while his train is being conducted inside the prison.
Several cases of alleged terrorism are pending against him and other activists of TNSM.

@ashar: Crap
@Randomstranger: You were right. Wellwisher read your mind and came hunting for us. Ironic, calling himself the Wellwisher??
@Billoo Bhaya: Your two comments above do not conform. Please re-read them and analyze yourself. The reason I know, when argument is only for the sake of argument, this kind of mistakes happen. It will take time for you grow up. Any way an appropriate reply @WellWisher:
@WellWisher: I was waiting for someone with your logic to show up. And as expected you did. I am going to meet my maker with a clear conscience and hope to be welcomed in Paradise. People who go killing others in the name of Allah worry and don't want to leave this corrupt world. Also, the Koran retells the tales of the Torah and the Bible and gives the same message. If the stories of prior prophets are the same in the 3 texts then the message is also the same. I have studied the Torah and the Bible in great detail, along side the Koran. The Kingdom of Heaven is the same in the 3 religions. Go and study them and you will find your salvation.
The face of a terrorist seeking help from Pakistani doctors, and treatment paid by Pakistani tax payers. Do you see the irony here? What has he contributed to Pakistan to seek such help?
Why didn't he just prayed to Allah to cure him instead of utilizing kafir machines for ultrasound and diagnosis. Would he have allowed a woman to seek such a treatment option under his 'Nizam-e-Sharia? I bet after he gets better he'll solely give credit Allah for his betterment instead of the doctors.
@Billoo Bhaya and @Randomstranger The question is not of being an atheist or ... The refernce of "Kingdom of Heaven" more appropriately can be attributed to christianity. So if you believe in that, don't be shy to disclose. However I would attribute your comments to lack of information on religious matters. As far as Islam goes, Allah and His Messenger have encouraged and inspired the believers to think/ponder and examine the realities of ourselves and the larger universe around us. Modern medicine and investigative approaches are the results of early Muslim scientists. Likewise in other fields there are many pioneers who were also great muslim scholars as well. Now coming back to "receving treatment or not". I am surprised why everything need to be attached to negativity. Let the courts decide about Mr. Sufi, but on what grounds you can deprive him of his rights? I am saddened by the way people try to comment on matters without giving a second thought that these are going in our scrolls and will be brought before us as proof.
Why is his beard so angry?
@Billoo Bhaya
Prepare yourself for the accusations of being an atheist.
The religious minded always reject western diagnosis and pray for eternity as the place to find peace. Why then do they seek hospital treatment and prolong their stay in this corrupt world?? Instead they should pray to get to the Kingdom of Heaven asap.
