A bombing and a shoot-out left at least seven security personnel wounded on Monday in the Mastung district of Balochistan.
Unidentified persons had planted a remote-controlled device along the road which was reportedly aimed at targeting the security forces. As the vehicle carrying security personnel approached the area, the remote-controlled bomb went off, leaving seven security men, Naseer, Khalid, Aziz Saqlin, Tariq, Ramzan and Fahim Hussain wounded, the sources said.
There was also an exchange of fire after the bomb blast and the attackers fled the area after the confrontation.
