BARA: Militants torched two houses along with a hujra of pro-government militia members in the troubled Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency on Saturday.

According to reports from the remote valley, dozens of Lashkar-e-Islam (LeI) militants held a jirga in Takhta Kai area in Kamar Khel. The jirga decided that the houses of tribesmen who sided with the government against LeI led by Mangal Bagh would be torched.

Reportedly after the decision of the jirga, the local commander ordered other militants in the area to burn down the houses of pro-government militia members in Langro Kallay.
