Style Icon: Zara Peerzada

From ramp shows and photo shoots to posh celebrity dinners and grand events, model Zara Peerzada is delightful to look at wherever she is. With those well-defined sultry eyes, attractive jaw line, beautifully arched eyebrows, luscious long hair and a perfect sense of style, Zara always manages to captivate people around her with her unconventional beauty and, not to forget, her gorgeously-painted, signature red lips.

When it comes to styling herself, Zara is a complete risk-taker. “I honestly believe that fashion is all about being fearless. I’ll wear large hats, bow ties and tablecloth made into a dress and it works…most of the time. It’s okay when it doesn’t because clothes should be fun to wear, not [just] appropriate,” says the young model.

Zara, the flawless face of Luscious Cosmetics, is not a wannabe desperately resorting to fashion from the West. Instead, she is all for local brands including Republic by Omar Farooq and Feeha Jamshed that top her list of favourites. Having a versatile and daring personality, the model and journalism student does not like to limit herself with popular trends. “My advice to fashion forward women would be: Don’t follow trends, bring a little awkward into your style. I’d really like to see more personality in dressing,” she adds.
