When the police raided the warehouse on Ring Road, Chamkani they caught two people who were moving 50 bags full of explosives in two pickup trucks.
Questioning the men revealed that many more such bags were present at a nearby warehouse. A successive raid yielded over 500 bags containing over 15,000 kilograms of explosives.
“There are 580 bags of explosives containing at least 25 kilogram of the substance and we have arrested two accused,” SHO Hameed Khan told The Express Tribune. He added that two guards posted at the warehouse managed to escape before the raid, however, police were searching for the men.
“These explosives had been stored in the warehouse and there is around 15000 kilogram of explosives in total.”
Khan claimed the accused were planning to transport the explosives to different localities.
The officer suggested that the explosives were meant for terrorism related activities; however they were still interrogating the two suspects.

This explosive come from Chenab explosive Magzine located in taxilla.
This is wah nobels detonators and wabox 25mm...this must be containing a batch number from which it's original owners can be traced and this explosive is manufactured in taxilla wah Nobel so don't confuse it with India's explosive and another thing this is a commercial mining explosive which only sells in black through smuggling, it's not used in bomb blasts.because a terrorist don't need that much explosive from bomb blasts and the police have must taken some money from criminals and the agencies will get nothing from these smugglers.so it's nothing because nothing is achieved.
It is encouraging to see that Peshawar police was able to nab terrorists and recover over 15,000 tons of explosive and thus avoids a big catastrophe. Just think the amount of damage this huge cache of explosive would have done to the city. Congratulations Peshawar police! This haul proves that the enemy is always planning to carry out their mission of death and destruction. It is important to be vigilant and work together to defeat this common enemy who is out to inflect all kind of damages on both sides of the border. Stability in the region can only be achieved if we are able to proactively make sure that the enemy’s plans are defeated.

@Kaalchakra:"Now we know why India has built 27 embassies along Pakistan-Afghanistan border". you seem to be weak in counting.........its 72 and not 27...........pls double check before you post a comment :)
@p r sharma: these are not nails these are detonators which is placed inside the explosive for initiating small blast for the big one.
@kaalchakra: who stops Talibans in Afghanistan to destroy at least half of them this means some comprise and understanding by some one here with some one there.
@Ch Allah Daad. Grow up. Elections are over, lets side with security forces for their efforts to curb terrorism. Since you have the insight, can you enlighten us by telling why the guards at the warehouse escaped then? Why they needed their own intelligence to update them before raid? Any idea dude?
@kaalchakra: WOW, You ask "Why does India need embassies and consulates in Afghanistan? India is not even a neighbor?"! (Hmm, Kabul to New Delhi is around 600 air miles!!) Are you saying that Pakistan should close down all its embassies and consulates all over the world where it is not a "Neighbor"??? (That would save a lot of money!) But once again, WHERE ARE THOSE 27 INDIAN "EMBASSIES" YOU CLAIMED EXIST IN AFGHANISTAN LOCATED ALONG THE BORDER???:
@Ch. Allah Daad:
The photo shows the nails which are not required in blasting rocks for construction of road. . Nails are used to maximize the human destruction.
@Kaalchakra Forget about embassies, why would you stake claim inside Indian territory???
You call this massive???
@kaalchakra: "Indians, the main thing is why does India need embassies and consulates in Afghanistan? India is not even a neighbor! The only reason to have such presence there is to cause problems in Pakistan."
You definitely have some gall to continue with your insinuation despite being proven wrong on facts. Anyway India has 4 consulates in Afganistan and 5 in US which is also not a neighbour. What does being a neighbour have to do with how many consulates you have? India is building roads and doing other development work in Afghanistan. We have many Afghan students who come to India to study and patients who come to India for treatment. Moreover Indians have also been requested by the Afghanistan government to be involved in training their soldiers which India provides. All of this requires people to go back and forth.
So you tell me why does Pakistan need so many embassies since as far as I can tell Haqqanis and Quetta Shura do not need visas to go back and forth across the Durand line do they?
This drama is staged by Police Officers to fool PTI government. These explosives are used in mountainous area by road contractors.
@gp65: The whole world knows that India is responsible for creating much of the trouble in the region. Whether they have 10 or 100 consulates matters little. What has been proven is that India uses Afghanistan as a base to promote criminal acts in Pakistan. This has been stated by none other than US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel. India has long tried to keep Pakistan busy with internal problems so that it can continue its illegal oppression in occupied Kashmir. Hats off to the KPK security forces who tracked down the warehouse used by these criminals!
ET Mods: If you allow outright lies to be published by @kaalchakra, you must allow a factual rebuttal by me.
@kaalchakra: "Now we know why India has built 27 embassies along Pakistan-Afghanistan border".
Ah so the fake number that you have picked is 27 - eh? Other numbers I have seen are 19, 107 and so on. India has a total of 5 embassies and consulates in Afghanistan. The exact same cities that Pakistan has consulates and embassies. The cities are Kabul, Hear, Kandhar, Jalalbad and Mazar-e-Sharif. http://embassy.goabroad.com/embassies-in/afghanistan.
If you think you are correct, please provide the addresses of the remaining 22 embassies and consulates. After all an embassy does need a physical address does it not?
If your primary statement itself is false, then what can one conclude of the associated insiunation?
@kaalchakra: So you say that "India has built 27 embassies along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border"!!! Wow, too bad you didn't know (and didn't bother to look up) that India ONLY has an Embassy in Kabul, and 4 "Consulates" located in Herat, Kandahar, Jalalabad and Mazarin-e-Sharif! Pleeeeeze tell us where the OTHER 21 "Indian Embassies" are located that you say exist "Along the Border"???
what about who owned the warehouse and those people should be interrogated and who is the owner and distributor of these explosives. It has been known for years that explosives has been brought from certain other areas and stashed near by Peshawar. These people should be prosecuted to the fully extent and put them away for a long long time to come. I say to ISI that here is your chance to find out where all these explosives originated, as I understand the explosive has their signature and should be investigated and announced to the whole world the responsible party or country. Good work Peshawar security officers, we salute you for job well done.Keep up the good work, the nation needs you and appreciate your sacrifice.
With the better ground intelligence the drones are going a great job. Now again with the better ground work the terrorists cannot escape. Kudos to the KPK police and secret agents who are doing a great job to work as hammer and anvil against terrorists. Please continue to eliminate the source and resources of the terrorists who have killed our tens of thousands of innocent citizens.
I love you PTI. Naya Pakistan Inshallah from KPK. time will tell that people of KPK only made the right decision. As IK said "You will see the difference in first 90 days" INSHALLAH
