Discussing governance: CM holds meeting on budget

The provincial issues in general and Karachi in particular were discussed at the meeting.

KARACHI: The Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah presiding over a meeting on Thursday at the CM house reviewed the developmental proposals of Budget 2013-14.

Murad Ali Shah, the finance advisor to the CM, gave a detailed briefing on the proposed Annual Development Programme. Additional chief secretary for planning and development, Arif Ahmed Khan, secretary finance, Sohail Ahmed Rajput and other officials also briefed the CM on different aspects of the budget. The DG rangers Maj. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar called on CM and briefed him regarding the law and order situation. The provincial issues in general and Karachi in particular were discussed at the meeting. Meanwhile, the Korean Consul General Chong Jo Chai made a farewell call on chief minister.
