SUKKUR: World Wide Fund for Nature - Pakistan (WWF-P) has certified Institute of Business Administration, Sukkur, as a ‘Green Campus’.

The institution has already drawn up plans to reduce its consumption of natural resources by conserving electricity and water as well as saving paper. IBA, Sukkur, is also organising an event on campus where people will try to identify the way in which it can cut down on its electricity usage.

It managed to reduce the number of electrical units consumed by 47.4 per cent in May. IBA, Sukkur, in collaboration with WWF-P, has taken the initiative of implementing the ‘Green Campus’ programme - this is an environmental management system to mitigate the carbon and CFC emission besides taking other environmental friendly steps.
