Tribal Areas: PTI to support PML-N on drone attacks

Drone attacks were illegal and it is a clear violation of the laws of United Nations (UN), says Shireen Mazari.

ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Dr Shireen Mizari on Sunday assured that her party would support every step of PML-N-led government to stop drone attacks in tribal areas of the country.

Drone attacks were illegal and it is a clear violation of the laws of United Nations (UN), she added.

Mazari blamed former PPP-led government for adopting dual policy on the issue of drone attacks.

Talking to a private TV channel, Mazari urged for dissociating the country from the American fight, in order to ensure peace and tranquility, adding that the US was also involved in nuclear proliferation programmes.

Replying to a question, she claimed that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government would introduce energy policy in the province to generate its own electricity.

She appreciated PML-N’s decision to nominate Dr Abdul Malik for the office of Balochistan’s Chief Minister, adding that Abdul Malik was the representative of the people of Balochistan.
