LAHORE:
Hearing a petition for the disqualification of prime minister-designate Nawaz Sharif, chief minister-designate Shahbaz Sharif and Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday, The Lahore High Court directed the petitioner to argue the maintainability of his petition at the next hearing on June 11. Petitioner Shahid Orakzai has contended that the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz leaders had been convicted of an attack on the Supreme Court in 1998, but did not mention that in their nomination papers. He said they were not eligible to contest the elections.
