KARACHI: The advent of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has damaged cricket in general and Indian cricket in particular. India had a very decent Ranji circuit, which produced several greats for them. The IPL is just promoting greed and a brand of cricket, which is anything but cricket. It is extremely sad to see players like Viv Richards and Sunil Gavaskar supporting this mess.
