Local residents told The Express Tribune that dozens of heavily armed militants entered the house of headmaster Haji Rehman and opened fire at him, killing him on the spot.
It was not clear why the man was targeted but locals said that he had developed differences with the militants which eventually led to his death. “Probably he was considered pro-government by the militants and that was why he was killed in cold blood,” said a local elder on condition of anonymity.

The situation greatly improved after security forces were deployed in Hasan Khel area of the FR Peshawar two months before the general elections. However, militants returned when security forces left.
Many tribal elders had to flee the area due to security concerns.

This looming threat of terrorism has plagued the region for a very long time now. Pakistan in particular continues to face the wrath of terrorism. To make matters worse, we continue to find the same culprits behind these acts of terror. Furthermore, these terrorists regularly boast about their crimes in their bid to spread fear and panic. You must believe that we are not doing ourselves any favors by shifting the blame in different directions. Pakistani Security Forces continue to lay their lives down in trying to make the region safer. Our forces are doing the same across the border in fighting their counterparts. Does it make sense to let these obvious culprits off the hook with the help of conspiracy theories? The bottom line is that these terrorists see our nations as a common threat due to our common stance against terrorism. Ultimately, it is up to us to reap the benefits of combining our strength. We’ve made too many sacrifices to let conspiracy theories hold any precedence.

They do not believe in democracy. They do not believe in Pakistan constitution. This is not my opinion. They have said so explicitly. It follows that they therefore do not consider any democratically elected government which takes oath to obey the Pakistani constitution as their own government.

The last article I read was flooded with comments about how great it was that the Taliban were making overtures with Iran and how great of a regime it would be in Afghanistan. Now their evil barbarians again. Stop complaining when these things happen. It is supported and accepted by many. i think at first pervaiz khattak should do something with the Police reforms and give them full freedom to track and neutralize such militant who are operating in peshwawar specially in the rural areas .If he think by appeasing Taliban he can do something he is wrong beacuse these Taliban are considering that they are on the winning side. They are carrefully assassinating important Patriotic Pakistani Pakhtoons and it is a real shame that the government instead of being on real offensive against Taliban they are fooling themselves.

Will any Molana or Political leader specially Imran Khan denounce this killing of innocent school teacher. This is anti country, anti education, anti public, anti Islam act on the part of Taliban but no one will say that this is wrong. Will PTI set up in KPK register an FIR for this killing against unknown Taliban ? Certainly not. Cut the supply of electricity, supply of fuel, provision of medicines and posting of doctors and other services. And seal your borders with Afghanistan, you will get the desired results.
Did it happen because of the drones? I think not. Time for the nation to step out of the delusion.
