Infrastructure: Rs229m to be spent on road to Derawar Fort

Baloch stressed the need for cleaning the ponds (tobas) so that rain water could be stored efficiently

The Cholistan Development Department would spend Rs229 million on the construction of the 35-kilometre road from Kandaywala Bridge to Derawar Fort. Another Rs153 million would be spent on broadening the road from Feroza to Head Fareed.

This was announced by District Coordination Officer Imran Sikandar Baloch, also the Cholistan Development Department managing director, here on Friday. He was talking to the media after visiting the construction sites. Baloch stressed the need for cleaning the ponds (tobas) so that rain water could be stored efficiently. The DCO later also visited the Veterinary Dispensary at Head Fareed.
