Apprehended: Two militants held by security forces

MINGORA: Two militants, including a top commander, were arrested by security forces in Ashar Banr Village, Charbagh tehsil on Friday. Security sources said they had received intelligence stating militants had entered the village to carry out attacks. Following the tip-off, an operation was launched on Thursday night and the suspects were arrested. They were identified as Attaullah and Abdullah, both residents of the same village. According to locals, Attaullah was an active militant commander who fled Swat after security forces conducted operations against anti-state elements and restored peace in the valley.
