Fairness: ‘Musharraf being harassed’
The court adjourned the hearing till June 10.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Thursday adjourned a petition against alleged harassment of former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf and seeking a fair opportunity to defend himself against the allegations. Barrister Javed Iqbal Jaffrey has filed the petition, saying that the former ruler was being harassed by the state and was being treated like a convict. He said that even an accused man had fundamental rights which could not be usurped in any case. The petitioner asked the court to order the government to provide protection to Musharraf and treat him in accordance with the law. The court adjourned the hearing till June 10 when the petitioner will argue on the maintainability of his plea.

Musharraf is the most honest truthful person and a brave soldier who has served in Armed forces for more than 40 yrs from a lieutenant to Commander in-chief. There are no charges of corruption. He submitted himself to the majesty of court when even the red warrant failed to force hime to country .
Now the way he is treated is a shame for this country and its armed forces and for the honest people all over Pakistan . It seems If you are a cheater and liar but a politician then everything s OK but if your are honest but came from Army you are disrespected .I think General Kiyani should take serious note of this harassment and so do the courts to make their image better in the world
there are good people still in the country. thank you Lord! free musharraf now!
