Zarrar Sehgal
A Pakistani lawyer, Zarrar Sehgal, has been declared among the top 10 transportation and aviation finance lawyers in the US, according to Chambers - the world’s leading guide to the legal profession.
He has also been ranked in the prestigious “Band 1”. Sehgal is the first Pakistani to enter the category and the first lawyer across the globe below the age of 40 to enter the list at Band 1.
A BA from Boston University and a JD (Juris Doctor) from Georgetown University Law Center, Sehgal is a partner at Clifford Chance LLP, a global law firm backed by top ranked practices in the world’s major financial and business centres. The firm advises leading international financial institutions.
Sehgal has extensive experience representing underwriters, lenders, lessors and governmental agencies engaged in a wide variety of asset finance transactions.
Sehgal is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. He is also an advisor to several of the large investment and commercial banks. In addition to this, he is the President of TCF-USA, a non-profit organization affiliated with The Citizens Foundation in Pakistan.

There is a self made billionaire Pakistani American famous entrepreneur named Shahid Khan whom owns a billion dollar American Football sports franchise the Jacksonville Jaguars. Known to be among the few elite Football Franchise owners. Living the American dream better than most Americans can ever even dream of living.
And you guys are excited over some lawyer? I'm not even Pakistani and I love me some Shahid Khan.
My favorite quote of his was when he was showing a reporter a noisy auto parts manufacturing factory if his in the U.S.
He says in a thick Pakistani accent. "Do you hear that? That's the sound of monnnneeeyy!!!"

Great Achievement and Pride for our Country. For those who don't know about Band 1, it would be a good idea to search on the net and read what a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT it is for any lawyer.

Dear all the haters, he is PAKISTANI not American! Please don't spread false rumors, and it's not very nice to say mean things about his dad or him, he has worked extremely hard to achieve whatever he has and no one deserves it more.
So please just bask in the fact that he gives Pakistan a great global impression, which we desperately need. We have so many talented people and I hope millions more rise to the top, but this does NOT come easy.

What is Band 1? Never heard of it. His father Ikram Sehgal is known for making claims that fall in the category of "out of proportion." It looks like a sale pitch, orchestrated by his father, since PIA is going to buy 12 new airplanes. I saw the same in another newspaper. Daddy knows how to magnify things to make a buck.
