Shah was elected by the Sindh Assembly with 87 votes for an unprecedented third consecutive term as the provincial chief minister.

@Ch. Allah Daad: " nor will there ever be, anyone better than his highness Mr. Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab"
Raise your standards!
what a selection of people of Sindh! this is what they wanted so they deserve it. Stay in dark ages for next five years.
He is as loyal to Zardari as my left toe to my left foot.
I feel very sorry for Sindh and KPK. Both provinces will suffer because they have got very young and energetic CMs.
Entire Sindh became Paris in his last term as CM. That is why he is elected again due to his best performance.
@Ch. Allah Daad:
Dude, exactly how much do the Sharifs' pay you since no reasonable person would make the kinds of comments you make about the PML-N or the Sharifs.
Will they ever learn? PPP lost mejestically in national assembly, if they carry on next five years same as last five, they will be booted out from provencial assembly too. Some never learns and it seems PPP is one of them.
PPP will disappear from Sindh as well if it continues to carry on like this.
@Ch. Allah Daad: Your most comments on ET are mostly full of Ignorance. There are tons of Capable people in Punjab and Shahbaz sharif is nothing in front of them but unfortunately all of them belong from middle class and people of Punjab always reject middle class and that is why Mr Industrialist Shahbaz Sharif is going to be the chief minister of Punjab again. Also keep in mind that his all speeches, his facebook page and most of the projects on his name are actually maintained by a cadre of Highly educated professionals but Mr Shahbaz is known to took the credit for all the people on his name;.
To me, its a black-day in the history of Pakistan especially Sindh.
@SRahman: Please dont feel so bad its not your PPP its now PPZP, Pakistan Peoples Zardari Party
@Ch. Allah Daad: What about we exchange our capable CMs.
It is a pity a person who has not been able to give law and order to Sindh and just doesn't care is made Chief Minister yet again. The kind of situation that prevails in Sindh and Karachi and he has been the CM throughout he should have shied away from becoming the Chief Minister. Shame is not a virtue he is known for. I am afraid he will do nothing for law and order and things will only get worse with time. Yet another sad day for the people of Sindh.
It is unfortunate that Zardari did not learn anything from the disgraceful defeat. Nothing against Qaim Ali Shah but he did not deliver when the federal government and all parties were on his back. I had feeling that Zardari will show some signs of improvement after the wakeup call but I was wrong - they are doomed for self-destruction. Being as a diehard sympathizer of PPP, it is heart breaking to see the humiliation and deterioration of a national party.
PPP in govt. and MQM is opposite... they have effectively killed govt and real opposition.
Sad days for Sindh ahead. We should vote for PTI to get rid of these people.
Just like Qaim Ali Shah will be Sindh CM for life, so too will Mian Shahbaz Sharif as CM for Punjab. Both are very deserving of the post. Don't know much about Sindh, but there is no one better, nor will there ever be, anyone better than his highness Mr. Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab.
Being loyal is good but being ignorant is fatal. I do not know when people will realise that the party they are loyal to is not the same PPP that was founded by Z. A. Bhutto. Even Bhutto wouldn’t have voted for this PPP leadership.
Madness
isn't there any young or capable person alive in whole sindh?
