PESHAWAR: Director General of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa chapter, Lt Col (Retd) Shahzad Anwar Bhatti, on Wednesday said education institutions can play an effective role in establishing a corruption-free society through focusing on character building for future leaders.

Addressing a workshop for university students and faculty members organised by the NAB in Hayatabad, Bhatti said the corruption watchdog had adopted a three-pronged strategy of awareness, prevention and enforcement, claiming enforcement alone was not the solution to the problem.

Around 70 students and faculty members of 12 universities attended the workshop. Later, the students were divided in various groups for brain storming and presentations on personality traits.
