An official of the security forces said that fighter planes bombed several of the militants’ hideouts in the Para Chamkani area, in which 15 militants were killed and five hideouts were destroyed. He added that after the bombing militants shifted the bodies to unknown places in the mountainous region of the agency.
Wednesday's bombings came after eight militants were killed when jets pounded targets on Tuesday.
The operation against militants in central part of the agency was launched on May 8 after forces were informed that militants have captured much of the Para Chamkani area. Nearly 12,000 families have been displaced to the Kohat and Hangu districts since.
According to the reports, more than 64 tribesmen including women and children have been killed by diseases and mishaps after fleeing from their houses while most are still living without tents, facing severe shortages of food and other basic necessities.
On Tuesday, 14 militants were killed and three hideouts were destroyed when security forces advanced in the Zarah Mela area of Kurram Agency.
On May 23, two security personnel including a captain were killed and around 18 were injured in a militant attack on a security checkpost in Zarah Mela.
On May 14, militants set fire to a local dispensary and a government-run school in the troubled Para Chamkani area.
On May 10, three security personnel and nine militants were killed when clashes erupted between them at the Mohmand Top check-post in central Kurram Agency.

@ali: A country's security apparatus has the right to operate within its own country. CIA kills their people in the US as well. Thus, Pakistan's Air Force has the right to bomb wherever within the country.
@Fakir: In relation to my previous answer to @ali, I must emphasise that drone attacks are being organised by non-Pakistanis and are against the sovereignty of the nation. Pakistanis are not against the drone strikes, they are against those strikes being conducted by Americans. Pakistani politicians have already made clear that the drone technology should be given under Pakistan's supervision.

While the drones are targeting only known killers and worst terrorists with smart bombs. What are Pakistani bombers doing? Killing everybody in their way? Where is the outrage by rightwing leaders like IK and NS against this killing by dumb bombs? These liars have double standards. When known killers are killed they get upset but when indiscriminate bombing by Paksitan they remain indifferent.
But if there is a drone attack from the U.S. you don't like that.

When Pakistani Airforce kills, there is no collateral damage. Those being killed must be bad talibans. Pakistan is trying to get this area vacated for some reason. Killing militants is just drama.
