‘Unknown causes’: Minor boy killed in Ghotki

The police, however, said that the boy was run over by a speeding wagon.

SUKKUR: A minor boy was killed at the Ghotki bypass on Sunday but the cause of his death has yet to be confirmed.

Police claimed that the boy was killed in a road accident while the family insisted that their rivals murdered 12-year-old Nauman, son of Suhrab Tagar who is a resident of Shahdad Colony Ghotki. According to the father, the boy went missing from the house on Saturday night.

His body was found on Sunday near the Ghotki bypass and later shifted to the Ghotki Hospital for an autopsy. Talking to the media, Suhrab claimed that his family has been involved in a dispute with Khalid Tagar. He accused Khalid and other people of kidnapping and killing his son. The police, however, said that the boy was run over by a speeding wagon. No case was registered till filing of this report.
