Let squash play an important role in bringing back major international sports to Pakistan.
KARACHI: This is with reference to the story “Pakistan awarded 2015 Squash World Cup” (May 24). The Pakistan Squash Federation must be congratulated for doing an excellent job with the hosting of the Asian Squash Championship, which has resulted in the country being awarded hosting rights for the 2015 Squash World Cup. Let squash play an important role in bringing back major international sports to Pakistan because we need to set a precedent of hosting trouble-free tournaments before we return to our status as a major sporting nation of the world.
