The Super Highway was blocked after security officials received a tip-off about the TTP members.
At least six hand grenades, four rifles and two detonators were recovered from suspects identified as Dar Khan and Shazullah.
Rangers personnel also conducted a security operation in the Manghopir area of Karachi and arrested more than 18 suspects.
They also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
Security sources said that at least one operation is being conducted every week in the area to weaken the TTP network.

@Saad and @Feroz Yes this much can be carried easily in the luggage. It is not checked. I'm a frequent traveler in these buses
@saad and feroz it is very easy to carry weapons in these buses as bags are not checked and kept in the luggage compartment.
Difficult to imagine any passenger being able to carry six hand grenades, four rifles and two detonators in any bus, unless the driver and conductor were part of the plot.
@ ET
What is the effectiveness of such weekly basis operations??
"At least six hand grenades, four rifles and two detonators were recovered from suspects identified as Dar Khan and Shazullah."
You can carry that much in a public bus unnoticed?
Surprising they did not blow themselves up and gave in easily aliong with their cachet. must be fake talibans,
As long as they are shown with face covered is all police and security agencies drama,it is bluff game of those who have taken system hostage. All have to be shown in one picture who has caught whom then we will believe system has revived otherwise dramas.
