In a statement issued here on Saturday, Aslam Rind said, “About three million-strong population of the metropolis are facing difficulties due to non-supply of water by (Wasa) as the department has switched off several tube-wells and are not paying attention to repair the ones not working.”
He said that people of Quetta have been left at the mercy of tanker mafia at a time when the prices have skyrocketed, leaving behind poor people who are unable to afford high charges .
