According to the Sindh Archery Association (SAA), the three-day camp for the Games will start from May 27.
Pakistan Archery Federation (PAF) coach Muhammad Sikandar will train the 24 players.
SAA Secretary Muneer Abdul Razzaq welcomed the move, adding that the development will help in shortlisting players for international events.
“Archery is only played at a resort and a couple of schools in Karachi,” Razzaq told The Express Tribune. “But no one considers it a serious sport here. It’s part of the Olympics and it’s time that Pakistan introduces it as well. The Beach Games is a perfect platform for us to introduce the sport.”
