PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) youth wing in Bajaur Agency demanded the party’s central leadership induct MNA-elect Shahbuddin Khan in the federal cabinet, and meet the expectations of the distressed tribal people.

Addressing a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Friday, PML-N Youth Wing Bajaur Agency President Mahmood Shah said the people of Bajaur trusted the PML-N and gave it a heavy mandate by electing Shahbuddin Khan from NA-44. Tribesmen are confident in Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and will see how his party honours them, Shah added.

Flanked by youth wing General Secretary Sayed Muhammad, Senior Vice President Abdul Aziz and Secretary of Information Fazl Amin, Shah asked the party leadership to nominate Shahbuddin as federal minister for states and frontier regions (SAFRON).

“If the party wants to eliminate illiteracy and poverty in Bajaur, they should induct Shahabuddin in the cabinet,” he added.
