Hot and bothered: Teachers upset about short vacations

NAUDERO: The Larkana chapters of the Government Secondary School Teachers Association (GTSA), Primary Teachers Association (PTA) and Mehran Teachers Association said they were unhappy about the provincial government’s decision to announce the summer vacation from June 14 till August 13.

All association leaders have said vacations in Punjab start 14 days earlier than in Sindh, even though the heat spell has hit both provinces. They said it would be difficult for children to spend time in school without electricity.
