Appointment: Khursheed Bokhari made acting DG IB

Incumbent DG retired on Thursday and would likely be appointed as member Federal Public Service Commission.

LAHORE:
Syed Khursheed Alam Bokhari, officer of Police Service of Pakistan of BPS-21 was on Thursday appointed as acting chief of a civilian spy agency, Intelligence Bureau (IB), The Express Tribune has learnt.

The incumbent Director General (DG) IB Abdul Wudood Shah retired on Thursday and would likely be appointed as member Federal Public Service Commission.


Syed Khursheed Alam Bokhari is currently heading the IB Punjab as a Joint Director General (JDG) of Provincial Headquarters (PHQ) Punjab.

Earlier, Bokhari had also served as JDG Balochistan.
