Trade: South Africa keen to boost trade
The lack of timely information to business opportunities was the biggest hurdle to increased trade, says envoy.

The High Commissioner of South Africa in Pakistan Mpendulo Kumalo while talking to industrialists and exporters said South Africa is keen to boost trade ties with Pakistan by making investments in tourism and undertaking joint ventures in different sectors. He said that his country pledged to make all out sincere efforts to remove all bottlenecks and promote mutual trade ties between the both counties. Both countries have been enjoying cordial trade relations, he said and offered direct trade relations to the Sialkot business community, besides pledging full support and technical assistance to ensure easy access of the Pakistan business community to international South African trade markets. He said the lack of timely information to business opportunities was the biggest hurdle to increased trade.
