Justice served: Man gets death sentence for murder

According to the prosecution, Khan had gone to his in-law’s house to persuade his wife to return home.

KARACHI: The district and sessions judge, West, Shah Nawaz Tariq awarded death sentence to Izzat Khan for killing a man in August 2005.

The charges were established by the prosecution with the help of witnesses, medical and crime evidence. According to the prosecution, Khan had gone to his in-law’s house to persuade his wife to return home with him but a quarrel broke out between him and his brothers-in-law, Fazal Ameen and Saleem.

Khan was later accused of killing Ameen and injuring Saleem. A case was registered against him under section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Orangi Town police station.
