Unsolved Crime: Body of police constable missing for a week found

Police speculated it might be a case of militancy.

The body of a police constable who had been missing for the past one week from Takht-e-Nasrati tehsil, Karak was found in Thal tehsil on Saturday.


SHO of Thal police Farid Khan said they were informed by locals that a body was lying in a dried up stream in Chaparey Waziran area, adding they rushed to the site soon after.

Khan added they found the body and shifted it to the hospital for autopsy and identification.

He said during investigation they found out it was the body of police constable Fazli Rabbi, who went missing from his home a week ago.

Khan said Rabbi had earlier served in Hangu district and was later transferred to Karak.

He speculated it might be a case of militancy.
