Counsel for the accused in Shahzeb Murder case, Mehmood Qureshi, presented his final arguments before the Anti-Terrorism Court-III on Friday.
Qureshi said that that the accused, Nawab Siraj Ali Talpur, was studying at home when Shahzeb Khan was shot dead and the police have falsely implicated his client.
He said that the investigation officer has handled the case in a very irresponsible manner as he neither sealed the property nor were the memos prepared as per the law.
Following the arguments, Judge Ghulam Mustafa Memon adjourned the case till Saturday. Besides Siraj, Sharukh Jatoi, Nawab Sajjad Ali Talpur and Ghulam Mustafa Lashari have been booked for killing 20-year old Shahzeb on Dec 24, 2012, after Lashari allegedly teased Shahzeb’s sister. The verdict will be announced once the Counsel for the accused end their arguments.
