According to Babar, there is no question of a resignation.
Despite suffering a historic defeat at the centre and in three provinces, the PPP has surprised many by retaining its earlier position in Sindh by again winning a simple majority here.
The party has bagged 67 seats in the province, according to unofficial results of the 2013 elections. It took 68 in the 2008 elections.
Some analysts and politicians expected that the party will lose its mandate in Sindh owing to unpopular policies it pursued during its reign.
The incoming government of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is in the process of finalising a list of its cabinet members as well as various other portfolios.
Nawaz Sharif has officially designated Senator Ishaq Dar as the federal minister for finance and Sartaj Aziz as the adviser to the prime minister on economy and foreign affairs, as the PML-N works towards finalising its cabinet.
The Sharif brothers are dealing with various lobbies within the party to decide who gets which cabinet slot.

we should turn a deaf ear to the romours about president as he is the symbol of the federation and success and defeat is the part of game . but he and his party undoubtly run the country in a very critical position. the incoming goverment should take oath from him as the head of the state. In this way the democracy may continue.
Certainly. He has instead planned a medical checkup which shall last an eternity. The countdown has already begun and his plane ready.
PPP's win in sind (rurual) and MQM win in karachi is not at all surprise. PPP has so many shaheeds in whose name it will continue to rule sind in the future also thx to the politics of pti and pml n who wants to rule the country only through the domination of punjab. Both parties gave least attention to sind. Legally zardari has very right to complete his tenure but going by the moral values which are absent in our politics, Zardari being chairman of the party should accept the responsibility of its poor performance and resultant humiliating defeat of the party and must resign. Constituionally chairman senate and speaker NA are there to officiate as acting president and thus zardari's resignation is not going to create any constitutional crisis.
Why should he resign and invite judiciary to nail him in a number of cases ? He is surely smarter than Musharraf and would not take such a foolhardy decision as long as he can avoid it.
He must continue to complete his term. President is the head of the state and should take oath from the incoming parliament and the government. Let the democratic process continue. No shortcuts for the shortcut seekers.
Completing-tenure philosophy is being upheld rather firmly. Enjoy the last day of presidency in president house. That is the what politics is all about.
Huh
He never did care about moral issues. At least he is consistent at his Shenanigans.
Means he is resigning,
