BANNU: Three men, including the Bannu Headquarters DSP, were arrested in court on Sunday in the murder case of an SHO.

On April 11, seven people including SHO Zinatullah Khan were killed and 12 others were injured in a brawl at Zinatullah’s brother Sadullah’s wedding in Bannu. A case was filed against DSP Muhammad Ismail Marwat, Umer Qiyaz Khan and Gul Khan, and the accused requested bail before arrest. However, the court rejected their bail after which the three men, who had appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Bannu Arshid Khan on Thursday, were arrested from the court’s premises. The accused were later shifted to a lock up.
