Accused of rigging : Seven political activists arrested

The police said that they haven’t confessed their political affiliation as yet.

KARACHI: Darakshan police registered a case against seven political activists for their alleged involvement in rigging on Wednesday after receiving several complaints from DHA residents. 

The police identified them as Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Iqbal, Eshaan Abdullah, Mohsin, Rehan Mushtaq and Taimur and said that they were booked under section 147,148,149 and 189 of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 13-D of the Pakistan Arms Ordinance The suspects were found involved in disturbing the law and order situation during the polls in DHA College for Women and Clifton Grammar School in Boat Basin.

The police said that they haven’t confessed their political affiliation as yet.
