PTI nominates Pervez Khattak as chief minister for K-P
Says willing to talk to any political party, except for JUI-F.
Pervez Khattak took oath as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's chief minister on Friday, Express News reported.
Engineer Shaukatullah, Governor of K-P administered the oath.
Khattak had been nominated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. The political party, which won 17 provincial seats in K-P according to unofficial results said that it is ready to talk with any political party on the possibility of forming a coalition government except for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
In a press conference, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) said it has agreed to form a coalition government with the PTI in the province.
