Explosion: One injured in roadside blast in DI Khan

Two kilogrammes of explosives were used in the bomb.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: One person was injured when a bomb planted by the roadside went off in front of the office of a local newspaper on Circular Road, DI Khan on Sunday.

The injured, identified as Saeed Khan was passing through the area when the explosion happened. He was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital DI Khan and was said to be out of danger, a police official at Cantt police station told The Express Tribune. He further said two kilogrammes of explosives were used in the bomb. Police speculated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s PK-64 candidate, Ali Amin Gandapur had passed through the area earlier and he might have been the target.
