Argument leads to firing: Two killed, eight injured

Two pedestrians, who were hit by the bullets, died on the spot.

SHEIKHUPURA: Two people were killed and eight others injured on Sunday in an exchange of fire between rival groups. Police said the incident occurred in Bhikki area in the Bahuman village, where 15 men of Master Vilayat group shot at some people of Nasir group over an argument that had occurred between them on Saturday at a polling station. Two pedestrians, who were hit by the bullets, died on the spot. Eight others were injured and taken to a hospital, where doctors treating them said that the condition of two of them was critical.
