Addressing the press after the announcement of results, Qureshi said his party will take into account all the rigging allegations that have been made and then decide upon forwarding a collective complaint to the ECP.
Qureshi has lost from three of the four national assembly constituencies he was contesting. He lost his hometown seat to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Abdul Ghafar Dogar which has further put him in a negative light in front of his supporters.
He said all independent candidates would do well to join PTI since his party has proved it can be the icon of change by its consistent policies and ideologies.
We plan on being the toughest and most disciplined opposition in the history of Pakistan, he added.
Correction: An earlier version of the story, quoting unofficial results said Qureshi had lost NA-150 Multan-III, but official results later revealed that he had won the seat.
